Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs

The perfect gluten-free, dairy-free appetizer,
INGREDIENTS
1 lb organic ground turkey
1/4 purple onion, chopped
1/4 cup coconut aminos, plus more for a drizzle
Cayenne pepper & sea salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400º F and line a cookie sheet with non-stick parchment paper
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
Use a cookie scoop or spoon to dish out the mixture and roll with hands into 2-inch balls
Space out turkey balls on a baking sheet
Bake at 400º F for 30 minutes, or until tops are golden brown and inside is thoroughly cooked
Drizzle turkey balls with coconut aminos and sprinkle with extra cayenne pepper
Serve with toothpicks as an appetizer or enjoy as a main or side.
